As the sole designer on this redesign project, I led creative discussions with the client, created high-fidelity mockups/prototypes for approval, then built the front-end templates for the website.
UNC Health needed to redesign their website under a new brand. The goal was to give the site a fresh, new look, yet not veer too far from what patients were already used to, and to do it all on a very aggressive timeline. During the design phase I was able to update the look of the site by changing colors, fonts, background graphics, and icons. The header and footer of this site remained almost identical to the original. When coding the templates, accessibility was top of mind. I made sure the menus, tabs, accordions, etc. could all be accessed easily with a keyboard and screen reader.
